Portraits for Purpose
Portraits for Purpose is an ongoing charitable art initiative rooted in the belief that portraiture can create impact beyond representation. At the intersection of art, culture, and philanthropy, the project uses contemporary painting to foster connection, awareness, and positive change.

Launched in 2018 by New York City–based artist Tyler Loftis, the initiative began with original portraits of influential cultural figures, each supporting a nonprofit selected by the sitter. Proceeds were donated directly to these organizations, aligning creative expression with purpose-driven outcomes.

The initiative continues to evolve through curated auctions, private commissions, and philanthropic events, including a recent work with Emmy Award–winning actor Bryan Cranston in support of Global Green.
